So a man buys a farm...
I think i would've had a heart attack the very same moment i opened the door.
Like Gromit801 said, "Jay Leno"................im willing to bet that he already has people working on bringing some of those cars to the States

That is amazing, even in the condition they are in, whoever bought that farm made out GREAT! What an extensive collection of cars. I would love to see them after a good wash, to see what condition they are really in.
Because the OP said...
... in Portugal. Not sure why or when... But apparently he buys this farm, goes out to the Barn eventually, opens it, and finds this:

I was thinking about what an interesting problem this might be if it had happened to someone like me, limited time, limited money. I buy a new place, lots of room, a barn (hope its not full of junk) house is bigger, etc. It was a stretch financially (not quite irresponsible, but a stretch definitely), but we can live here the rest of our lives. Then I open the barn.
Whoa. This is awesome. Now these are ALL mine. "Honey, if we sell them we could build a pool". Yeah, the size of a stadium. I can't keep all of them. It would take me the rest of my life to deal with this situation.
I would love to know "the rest of the story".

Do any of you remember the MTV contest where they gave one winner a corvette of every year? or was it model? something like a few dozen cars minimum, I remember hearing the guy who won could not keep them all (who the hell could) and kept one or two and sold the rest. Real shame.
Also, when I lived in florida my buddy was a mustang dealer, He go ahold of 2 shelbies that were so rotten they were barely hanging together. the story was that this old gent had a yard filled to the brim with old cars. Everone tried to buy them over the years but he was not having it. His son finally got ahold of them and sold them off. The shelbies were rotten beyond belief. Holes in the roofs, half the deck lids gone. Still sold for over 18k each, and this was before gone in sixty seconds the movie that made the cars go nuts in price.
I also knew of an awsomely restored 67 GT 500 in Brittany blue that was at a show and a number of the older folks were around it saying it was a car they knew about stored outside for years and years. One guy said he saved the floors by putting a screw driver through them to keep the water from sitting as the windows were down
They are out there boys and girls.
Oh yeah, another story was the 67 GT 500 they found recently in an airplane hangar in a latin american country, Either mexico or puerto rico. something like that. I saw a mag article on it, it was up on blocks after the engine failed during racing in the 60s.
The mind dreams. peter
