Tardis is a great name!! Especially with the call box decal. And it's good to let the wife have her way, it makes life go much more smoothly.

 

My friends and I give nicknames to each others cars. They came up with the Green Lantern as the had movie just come out. It's stuck since.

 

Mine is "Sheldon" and when I pass everyone in traffic, it goes "Bazinga!"

"Firefly". The first night we noticed the glowing 'heartlight' coming from the top of the dash of our new Countryman and my son said it looked like a firefly. And since the Firefly TV series is one of my favorite, the name will become official.

I did briefly consider naming Betty Serenity...

 

Serenity is running neck and neck with Firefly. The vote will take place tonight.

 

My '05 convertible was Itsy but was lovingly called RED (yes, she was chili pepper red - I know REAL creative). My '12 CM doesnt have a name yet - only had her a week and she has really shown her personality yet. Will consider suggestions....

 

2006 MCS, British Racing Green with a black roof. We named him "Sprout" after the Golly Green Giants little friend.

Pictures would help with suggestions. But off the top of my head based on colour - Crysty, Shadow, Ghost, Wraith, and Panzer. But I am sort of different when it comes to names for cars.

 

I am expecting my first mini this week. Although it is black and blue I am thinking it is a girl. I will name her "Lil' Ms. S" after the
edie brickel and the new bohemians song, and she is an S series.

 

Sadly still haven't come up w/ a name. Son calls her silver but it doesn't seem to fit, kemosabe. She is getting striped this week (YAY) and I keep thinking, Skunk. As she is so stinkin' cute. She is silver w/ a black top, stipes to be black on the silver and silver on the black and black rocker panels stripes. Considering the Black Jack sunroof graphic, but not quite certain if it will be too much. So as of now, still motoring about in a MINI w/ no name :(

 

I named mine: Mr. Klaus Austin.

The night that I got him, I had the song server stuck in my head as I was dreaming.
The name Klaus came to my mind.

Oddly enough Claes, or "Klaus" is the boyfriend of the singer Jonna Lee. iamamiwhoami is her new project. Currently, I am obsessed with this act.

Originally, I was going to name my MINI, Austin after the namesake of Austin Mini Cooper, but Klaus fits.

 

I officially named my MINI Clubman "Brutus" today. It just fits with it being small, but mighty. Plus, it's just so darn cute!

 

My R56 is named Kingsford. Like the charcoal

 

My R55 is named Pumpkinhead although I don't know why!

 

Mine is playful. My license plate is plaafll and every time i get in her i feel extraordinarily playful!

I can't wait to drive my new one. I actually might call her naughty????

Cause she's the blonde one (and her last name, while rarely used, is actually Cooper!) I vote to rename yours to Veronica.

 

Lol, nope, she's staying Betty. But it's Black Betty from the Ram Jam song. Her "official" name is Elizabeth Regina Cooper.

 

My son thought it looked like "Bumble Bee" from the movie Transformers, but being a Mini and the Bumble bee name was already taken we decided with "Lilbee" as you can tell by my sig.

 

Yeah, someone in my local car club had recommended "Honey" with it having the bumble bee look
