Hey Twon,

When I got my aero grill color coded I also ordered the driving lights at the same time, then a few days later I noticed you posted up pictures of your MCS JCW and yep, it's PW/B with aero and color coded grill with driving lights! Hey, might be twins separated at birth! I got a March 2006 build year, you?

Well, it looks as yours is four months mines senior! Built July 06, maybe just cousins, but both gorgeous non the less!!! Apparently mine needs better grooming habits compared to yours though,

I haven't decided yet if I like the white grill better then the black that you had. I am just now started to lean toward the white.

How did you end up wiring the lights? I meant to post in your other thread, I am a bit embarrassed to admit, but it wasn't until reading your question, that I figured out how to turn those darn things on , I ran right out at work and poof, they turned right on (with the high beams of course). I had only had the car for a few days at that point.

Yeah I really do like them on the car. The only time I feel like they arent enough is when I'm at a meet and see others with a drop and 17s, but I want to keep those wheels on I think and just have them powder coated black one day.

Well you think of them and smile when you're going over some bumpy roads!
I don't know what tires you ended up getting but I was required to get the summer performance tires with those rims. Since I'm in the midwest (winters/snow) I switched them out for all seasons in a larger size. The ride is nicer and the slightly larger sidewall is better with the wheel gap.

Yeah thats what I love is that i get a smoother ride compared to them...i have the summer performance tires (florida so all that is needed)...the only thing that makes me want to get other rims is for the width...oem are so narrow and i would love to see how much the handling improves with 8 or 8.5s

Yeah there were times when I was planning it that i thought it could be too much, but once i started photoshoping some test, I just thought it needs more, and then I would find it only and try it out. When I tried it without the angled MINI side stripes it just seemed open, but the stripes kinda close in the car and pull it together. Same thing when i tried no checkered and only angled MINI. Once those stripes were on I had to get rid of the chrome I just went to walmart and got automotive primer, plastic paint, and a thick clear coat that only requires 1-2 coats (i used 3-4 ) and it leaves the paint soo strong...ive had no chips yet

Great pics, I'm loving seeing all the new '07s.
I've added 993, PPrince and ezpeasy. Welcome all to The Peerage!

PWs in the "nineties" rule. Congrats also to CooperAddict for snatching up the final legit double-digit Peerage number!
