Hi PW people! I'm considering replacing my factory webspokes for 16" wheels, purely for ugrading ride comfort. I like the looks of the O.Z. Ultraleggera, and was wondering if anyone had these on their PW MINIs, and if so, could you post a picture?

Howdy. I just sold my 04 MCS coupe and bought a loaded new (to me) 06 pepper white cabrio. It was used and had a ton of stuff I didn't need but am learning to love like auto trans. (hmmmm), Nav (hmmmm), leather, cold weather package....all packages but convenience. Actually, I hate the trying-to-be-intuitive windshield washers and thank goodness they are absent, don't know what to think about non-automatic rear view dimmer, but am stuck with the social worker-like empathic auto a/c. Hate that. Hate the factory black stripes on it.
Anybody got some better stripe suggestions? Also, I have the webspokes with runflats. Plan on going to maybe Kosei K1 wheels and some sticky non runflats? Your thoughts?

Recently I have begun to dislike my factory stripes as well, but only because the clear-bra is allowing a minute line of dirt to seep around the edges and I think it looks tacky. If you're interested in looking at other folk's stripes and getting ideas I'd go to the gallery (LINK to user galleries) and browse around. You can get vinyl from all sorts of places and have stripes of any color in any location.

Personally I'm thinking that when these stripes come off I'm ordering a set of custom made ones, though I'm not sure whom I'm going to go through yet. Good luck, let us know what you decide.

 

I got rid of my stripes when i first bought it - i like the plain black/white look. I am thinking about getting the british flag side mirrors, as I am English...but not sure if that will look too tacky.

 

Could I have Number 000 please? I had a 2004 PW/B MC, and then I upgraded to a 2006 PW/B MCS. Gotta love that PW!

Wow, surprised you didn't like the auto-wipers, it was the option I least expected to work so well. I'm in Seattle and realize how much I hated to adjust the wiper speed when I drive my wifes Impreza. Turn the Auto AC off and it stays off.
Hmm Konig Rewinds w/ 205/55/R15 KDWs would look nice on a cabrio.

I was driving next to a PW purist (matching body and top, that is) just yesterday, and though I hate to say it aloud. I like the black tops better with our body color.

Makes me wonder how many of us are PW/Bs vs PW/PWs.
