Draco's roof is posted on the Aesthetic Creation's website... it's the dragon claw ripping the roof open from the inside revealing the interior

Finally a nice day in New England. Poor car has been sitting in the garage for at least a month due to very cold weather, snow, and slick roads.

This is purely a pleasure vehicle and it is not practical at all... doesn't get great gas mileage, but it handles very well (unlike the previous model that was based on a 3-series chassis, the chassis on this car was designed from the start to be a convertible and therefore has extra reinforcement), has big tires, lots of horsepower, high redline and it loves to rev, exceptional brakes (very big drilled rotors all around), and it is a blast to drive with the top down.

I take it that was some sanctioned event, that cops and sheriff seem kind of laid back at your burn out.

Yep,

It's Called the London Cobra Show. It happens in London Ohio every June. It's a charity event for Cystic Fibrosis. Last year the Ohio Cobra Club cut a check to The Charity for $100,000. Usually about 200-300 Cobra replicas, Daytona Coupes, and GT-40's from around the country show up. The burnouts are done on mainstreet. The public can donate $10 to get a full blast ride down Main St. with the crowd watching and a Radar gun posting top speeds. It's about an 1/8 mile. The cars reach speeds of 75-108 mph. Most people just love doing a 100 ft burnout.

I usually ask if they want to go fast or do a burnout. 99% of the time it's a burnout.

The event is a cruise on friday, carshow/burnouts on saturday, and usually autocross on sunday. And a party every night.

Lots of fun. Check it out www.londoncobrashow.com

Hey JustJay ...

Those are amazing wheels on the Coupe. Sharp! What are they? Are they light? Thanks.

My MINI is now my second car, only use it on the weekends for fun, and it sits in the garage most of the winter. Bought a 1999 Honda Civic last year when I decided I wanted to keep the MINI long term. In the past I would get bored and buy a new car every three years, but I plan on keeping the MINI for 10+ years, maybe longer, just love it to death. One thing I hate to admit, while the MINI has been into the dealer 7 times for 9 different problems in the past two years, nothing on Honda ever breaks, even with 123,000 miles on it, it's all original, just has no soul.
