I love the color shifting, but I don't like the green-shifted color...what color are the stripes most of the time?

Theyre always changing.. I got them originally because they blend in with the BRG at times, giving somewhat of a subtle, ghost look, changing through to silver, and at times if the light is intense, purple. They have other shifting colors avail. as well.

Does anyone have my configuration (to be delivered end of July, born 6/23/08) with the web spoke wheels and driving lights? I am unsure if I should get the driving lights. It would be nice to see an actual picture of a car versus using MINI's website custom build. I've seed 1st generation cars but want to see 2nd generation pictures, exactly like what I ordered. Funny, I guess this is what customization is all about...

I don't have driving lights, but I have seen them and wish that I did. They are very stylish.

I love the aftermarket driving lights on my R53. Outmotoring had the right idea.

i can't get the LSD because it's an automatic (cause i can't do stick) and the arm rest is pricey...

also i could get rid of crown spokes and comfort access. that would save me over $1000.

I did not realize that about the auto. Not sure why that would be the case.

BTW, this a great car to drive as stick. It may be worth learning. It's not that hard and that would save you $1250 bucks.

I read on some other threads that there people that will teach you for a small fee.

Wheels can always be added later. You can probably find something you like better, maybe even for less money. I do not have the comfort access either and it does not bother me at all. More electronics just seems like more could go wrong.

Adding wheels later is exactly what I'm doing.

The other day for the first time I saw three BRGs in about 30 minutes. One with a white roof and stripes; another with just a white roof. And one like mine with black roof, but not the aero kit, so everyone was a bit different.

Can someone tell my how to upload photos to my gallery. I followed the directions, so I think, and I only see something that says 3 photos in queue but the photos are no where to be found. I click on my gallery now and there is nothing. It seems like they should just be there after uploading but I must be missing a step somewhere.
Thanks.

The wait stinks but the first ride home is the best. Congrats.

I remember the torturous wait - 57 days (19 across the pond) - and now I can't imagine being without my Cricket. Is that what they mean by 'waiting is such sweet sorrow'?

BRG

Hi,
I picked up "Molly" one month ago and I still have not seen another one. She is an 08 Clubman, of course in BRG with black roof and mirrors.
