Nope. It has finally made it to CA though. I am thinking probably two weeks. Hopefully less. I am envious of your wood steering wheel, I should have gotten it also. MA didn;t have a pic for me to look at. It looks sharp. I love your pics of the Tuscan Beige interior and English Oak! I cannot wait!

2 weeks! Mine landed on shore Friday. My dealer is only about 200 miles away from VDC... I am hoping by the end of this week. I can't call him anymore as I think he's getting a little annoyed. oops

Newbie

Hello Everyone
Well I ordered my MCS BRG about three weeks ago, and recently discovered this forum. My car is exactly like captain BJ's car, and I was wondering if captain BJ coul please post some more exterior shots as I agonize over this wait. I have wanted a BRG mini cooper s for about three years. My second chioce was PW/B and I could have gotton it in 3 weeks, but i waited. Currently sharing my wifes minivan.
Thanks,
Wolfgang

Originally, I was into the dark grey/silver and had every intention of getting THAT color. But as the Monkees say, "Then I saw her face.....now I'm a believer"! BRG ROCKS! I see sooooooooo many minis EVERYWHERE now, but hardly a brit! I feel special and my baby looks HOT! Love the color and glad I didn't get ordinary silver (sorry, no ofense to those who have, or like silver).

Yeah, my main concern now is selling my current car. If it hasn't sold in five weeks, then I'll be going nuts.

I got lucky. My best friend needed a car (her daughter is 16). She is flying up to pick up my CRV on Monday and my OL date is on Tuesday. Talk about awesome timing.

last nite... i woke up at 4am and couldnt get back to sleep. I had a 250 mile commute to pick up my car this morning... and I was early.

Hendrick MINI of Charlotte, NC was ideal to work with. If you are still thinking of ordering or need to have a dealer to a locator, call them and talk to Nick. He was outstanding!

I should be joining the ranks soon.

I will be ordering my MCS BRG/W manual this week.
Getting the sports and premium package along with the chrome bonnet scoop, and the chrome exhaust tips, white bonnet stripes, and the 17" crown spoke wheels included in the package (and the sunroof yay!).

I went ahead and put my pin on frappr, I'll have to take a closer look and see who esle is close by. Green has always been my fav color. Go BRG!

Thanks for doing that-I have been thinking about swapping in the front bumper from the aero kit and wondered what it would look like.

Nice Mini!

Are those the dealer installed sport stripes that go down over the bumper/spoiler or did you have to go aftermarket? (And who's the magnetic meatball from?)

Thanks guys.
I always loved the "spider" type look of the BBS wheels, but since I got my wheels through a local dealer, I got what I thought was the closest looking thing to it.

BTW, I finally got my TPM sensors today. I noted that the sensors I ordered, weeks ago, are still backordered on my Mini official Survey, there all located in Germany, and they came like "pronto". Now I got to get them reinstalled on my oem wheels that I will use for the winter (16" AS\RF Bridgespokes). Tire dealer suggested at least, getting a couple TPM repair kits (gasket\"O" rings) for the sensors, just in case. Good to have on hand, even if sensors don't get accidentally trashed upon tire removal.

Cool stripes, T-Horn67!

BRG looks great in any combo! Totally love it, better than my ex-silver MC!

Well sort of.....
When I placed the order with the dealer, they told me they have a "guy" who does a much better job than the VPC and uses higher quality product. So in a passing conversation with my MA, I mentioned that I really liked the look of the stripes all the way across the bumper and spoiler. She said no problem and charged me $80 additional. Normally, the sport stripes stop at the end of the bonnet and boot.

Regarding the meatball, I live in a small town just north of Colorado Springs. We have a little mom and pop printer in town. I went in with a Power Point slide because I could choose the font and adjust the width of the numbers to suit my tastes. 3 days later I had them. I think they charged me $74 for the 18" circles....really easy! They do a lot of magnetic signs for local businesses (mostly contractors).

Thanks for the response! I was secretly hoping they were just the regular dealer sport stripes because there's a picture in your gallery of them on the car when you're picking it up at the dealer. I'll just have to have a little chat w/ my MA when I finally make up my mind on options and am ready to order. I'll probably print out some pictures of your car to bring with me as visual aids as that's the exact look I want. It reminds me of the JCW CHALLENGE cars.
