I am a BEP/BEP MCS owner, though I am adding silver mirror caps and stripes soon, and I'm thinking of getting a Silver Jack sunroof flag to go with the silver bits. My rear windows are tinted and I do not have the exterior chrome so with the BEP roof and sunroof I have a very dark looking MINI. The silver will lighten it up a bit, though. I have a few pictures of him in my gallery here at NAM, but I'll try attaching them to this post. BTW, his name is 'the perp.'

I originally had a 2005 CR/W MC but I traded up to a 2005 BEP MCS this past February. I am loving it!

Any more word on magnetic grill badges for the BEP OC?

For people that did not get in on the t-shirt group buy, what kind of purple did you ask for? Or did you just say, 'gimme purple!'? :-)

If you have any left over that were not called for let me know (Cooper S, L). Or else I guess I can order one from the same seller through their ebay auctions.

I coordinated the Purple Shirt group buy. I told the vendor I wanted the shirts in a color of purple as close to the car. He said he did an extensive search to find just the right color. The Men's version was a very deep purple tho the Ladies' was a bit lighter, but I thought he came up with good colors!

I'm afraid I didn't buy any extras. Contact Mike at Empire Clothing. Maybe there are others that missed the buy and you could coordinate another group buy!

Soopah, that 's a stunning looking purple! When did you take delivery? You may consider a chrome scoop (the oem one) to bright the front a bit if you want some bling. Nice pics.

I finally purchased my first mini. It is a used, mint condition 05 MCC, automatic (don't shoot me plz) PH with black top, premium pkg and lots and lots of chrome .

I bought it off ebay and was actually marketed as BLUE color, when I arrived to pick it up I thought "that is purple!" lol. I called miniusa to verify the color code and yup, Purple Haze it was, since our last name is Hendrix we cracked up and figure this car was meant to be for us.

I'm glad to be a new member of this community and look forward to getting to know all of you.

I bought my MINI this past February. It was previously a leased MINI but the leasee had to leave Vancouver to return to Hong Kong so it was only on the road for 6 months and only had about 6000 kms (< 4000 miles). I traded in my Chili Red Cooper Classic for it and I haven't looked back since!

I think the chrome scoop is a bit much for my MINI but I might consider a silver scoop like the Checkmates have.

I will check it out, but I don't think I will coordinate any group buys. Most here on NAM are from the USA and shipping will be an added headache and cost from Canada. Any Canadian Black Eye Purple owners here that want to get in on a group buy? I'll give you a couple of weeks to send me a PM and then I will make an order. I've seen these on eBay so I do not think it will be too hard to buy them on their own.

I just aquired a '05 Purple MCS with chrome rims, I will post a pic soon. My brother just bought a Cabrio MCS and gave me a deal on the hardtop. I don't know much about Minis yet but mine is one of the few I seen that also has a purple roof. I am in So Cal North Orange County area, are there any Mini clubs out here?

I ordered a BRG/W MCS, and stumbled on a 2005 PH/W MCS. Wouldn't have it any other way. Any other PH/W with W hood stripes, and ....checkered mirror caps out there?
