Suggestions for Where to buy a new fuel pump

Hi all,

I'm new here and hoping to get some guidance on an issue i'm trying to resolve...

I have a 2013 Mini Cooper Hardtop S with about 80K miles. Recently, the indicator with the half filled engine came on and the second time this happened, my engine turned off while driving and I had to have my car towed.

I had a mechanic come by and he determined it was likely due to the fuel pump needing to replaced. He suggested I don't need an OEM part ($700+), but OE specs should be fine. There are fuel pumps on Amazon for less than $100 that have mostly good reviews, but some negative reviews. I was curious if anyone has any thoughts on whether these would suffice or not. I'm trying to determine if this is worth fixing or if it's time to replace this car altogether.

Thanks for your help!

Ely

I would do the ones we carry they are the same as Genuine, just dirrect from the manufacture. The ebay and amazon ones are known to fail out of the box. https://www.northamericanmotoring.co...ebay-hpfp.html

Thanks for the update never heard of the OSIAS brand, just watch those ebay, amazon, and aliexpress ones as most of them are dead on arrival. BMW ones have some really bad reviews on DOA. We are here for you if you have a problem.
" Leaks oil from the internals, failed, no response from manufacturer for warranty replacement. "

" I purchased a new OASIS pump of Ebay 11 months ago for $380 and it has now failed. OASIS says they offer a 1 year warranty, but they have not responded to multiple emails. I've also read in multiple places not to use OASIS. Live and learn."

Just fix the part, also we have lifetime replacement on most of these parts. https://www.ecstuning.com/LifetimeReplacement/

2013 should be the newest design below, look at your car in that top driver side corner and you should see the design. Bosch is oem and a much better price then Genuine MINI.
