I ordered a new Mini and received my production number but I'm having issues setting up an account to be able to track it.

Basically, what I've read, is to create an account in the owners section of the mini website and you then use the VIN or production number to track it. I created an account but when I log into it I'm automatically taken to a page that's for Mini Financial Services that asks me to "LINK YOUR ACCOUNT". I did not finance my new order through mini financial services so we I fill out the requested information it gives me an error saying "The information you provided does not match our records". If I cancel this page, it takes me back out to the login screen.

Is there a work around for this or am I simply looking in the wrong place to be able to track my new mini's production progress?

 

Are you going to the garage login?

https://mygarage.miniusa.com. Once you create an account it should land you on the my garage landing page below. Then click my my vehicles and will take you to bottom screenshot. You the just add. The two I have added by Vin #. The new on on order was added by production number.

 

thanks. This solved my issue. I was trying to login through the Mini USA website and it kept trying to link my Mini Cooper financing (which I didn’t use).

That Garage one allowed me to create an account and track my production number.
