General MINI TalkShared experiences, motoring minutes, and other general MINI-related discussion that applies to all MINIs, regardless of model, year or trim.
As of a few days ago in the Mini Garage The factory has scheduled production of your unique MINI. , don't know when they will start production, or how long normally it starts once they post the above.
I had called several dealers. The statement of delivery time was between 8 weeks and 4 months. One said if I ordered the car today I would get it in early October. When I asked if I would get my deposit back if it wasn't there in mid October, he never got back to me.
All I can say is that after I actually ordered mine, 2 weeks later I called Mini USA and they told me the actual production date 40th week of the year which is 1st week of October, the with in a few days it should up on the MINi Garage. I would try call Mini USA. Good Luck.
I checked with Mini Garage and still says in Production Queue. Then I call Mini North America, gave them the Vin and they said it's produt=ctin and will be competed 9/22/21. Hopefully will see it here end of October.
I ordered mine 8/31 and got a production # 2 weeks later which 9/10, 4 days ago. I was told when I ordered mine that it would be delivered around Nov - Dec.
As I said in my previous post, On the Mini Garage, my build still says in production queue, but when i call , they say 9/22. so filet the ini Garage is behind or North America Mini is correct, Hoping foe the Best.
That's really good News Tom, my build is at the Port to be loaded, If?, I'm right, was looking at the ship schedules and looks like Monday/Tuesday ship departs for Brunswick, If that's the case should see mine here Mid October..
Sorry not a good update from you.My car is still in Port, research shows the RoRo Vessel Sirius Highway is scheduled to depart for Brunswick on the 5th, the ship just departed Bremerhaven, it's a two day voyage, so maybe that's mine. Have a great weekend
Sorry , I meant two days from Bremerhaven to Southampton, the two weeks depending weather to Brunswick, ship is scheduled to be in Southampton tonight and depart tomorrow night for Brunswick, I track M/V Sirius Highway in the Maritime Tracking, will know for sure when its on it's way across the Atlantic. It's fun to track it's movement and speed. These Roro ship normally cruise at 20-11Kts, but are capable of 18-20 its, it's all in the weather conditions.
Yes you are correct it arrived in Zeebrugge yesterday from Bremerhaven, and is scheduled to arrive in Southampton,UK tomorrow and depart for Brunswick, Ga late tomorrow evening. https://www.southamptonvts.co.uk/Liv..._Movements/..I assume this in my ship since it is going to Brunswick.. Once your Build is complete you will be able to see what ships are scheduled to transport from Southampton to where ever your nearest port is, or by asking Mini where your build will transport to hope this helps.
My order is still running .... ordered at the end of July, planned for September, then not made it into production, scheduled for October, then back to the status order received. Now in production planning for this week in November. Means... if everything goes really well then delivery mid / end December. Apart from all the problems that GB currently has and the congestion at shipping.
As so every morning I look in autotrader and the stock shrinks from times originally 17 to 3 models. 2 new models were added today. And: There it is! Just as ordered - in Miami 2 hours away.
And as it always is... long negotiations - I hate that. They started with +$5,000 market adjustment. At the end we agreed on the MSRP but without manufacturer discount and +$1,000 dealer fee.
I lost a lot. $2,000 discount from the old dealer, $1,000 down payment and $1,000 up-charge.But, that's ok, I bought my old car from the leasing and can sell it for at least $6,000 more.
What a happy day!
