Ordered mine from Fort Lauderdale Mini, I will wait until 3rd week of September to start inquiring about the build status since that's when they say it will begin.

Hi Tom 992, last night on google, I found my exact Mini 2022 build for sale at a dealer out of State. In your opinion, do these dealers return your deposit if the build is not online, or do they work together , meaning that can the dealer I have a deposit with , get the car through the dealer out of Sate I found. I was going to stop by there this morning and inquire, but don't want to ruffle their feathers, your option. Thanks

 

That's my problem too
I never ask my dealer about the terms for the deposit. If you get any information about it, please post.
Call another FL dealer for the terms.I think they are the same.

 

The Dealer is in CA. I am stopping by the dealer here this morning and approaching this very carefully, would be ideal if they can get the car from the dealer in Ca. if not, may be an issue with the deposit. will let you know.

Bob Smith MIni, outside of LA, decided to leave it alone, even if they would get it for me or gave me my deposit back, I don't thinkI would get the same deal, got $1k off, plus would be another 1600,00 ship. Hoping to get the car by Christmas , that would be fine.

 

You get the same deal (if you show the Lauderdale offer) but have to pay the 1,600. plus unknown deposit return.... Feel free to offer him a lower price, just ask.
I got a great quote from Steven Creek and my Ft. Myers dealer matched the pricing..-$2,200 rebate.

 

I actually discussed the cooper with dealer in CA, the car they have is missing the Harmon Kardon as well as the Driver assist options and they the dealer only sell at MSRP. who is the dealer in Fort Myers your dealing with,

 

There is only on Mini dealer in Ft.Myers. Mini of Ft.Myers

You can easily check for the HK system. If the last 6 digits of the VIN is Nxxxxx or Pxxxxx or very low ROxxxx,, there is good chance for the HK system. (2 door iconic trim)

What options you are looking for?

Haha, now I found a 98% matching Mini Clubman JCW in VA. Can be a nice weekend trip to pick up the car.... I have to find out the Terms for the down payment.

 

how are you searching for one, you say a 92% match...to the one you have on a build sheet or order. Thanks

BTW: Down payment... is not refundable. Only if the car is not built as ordered.

 

i did find one that matches my build sheet, The dealer just received it today, will learn more tomorrow, not sure if i can get my deposit back, the car is not yet even on the production schedule yet, so will look deeper into to, Have to consider $1K that the local dealer took off, plus the shipping..

Week 3.8 now, still don't have a production number...
I have heard that HK is available again for Mini and some BMW.

 

As of a few days ago in the Mini Garage The factory has scheduled production of your unique MINI. , don't know when they will start production, or how long normally it starts once they post the above.

 

I finally have a production number from the dealer only after contacting Mini customer support. The dealer told us that they don’t always give out production numbers. Our car is scheduled to start production on August 31. So much for the 6 to 8 weeks we were told when we ordered it.

 

Just curious if you or someone knows, does Mini make certain model productions runs like they may run the countryman line one day or the 2dr Cooper s model the next day.

 

It took me nine weeks to get my production number. And I only got it because I contacted Mini support.
