Dang, that's gorgeous. I love the BRG/black roof look. Plus it has the aero kit. Are there import fees and such when buying a car in Canada and bringing it to the US?

I believe this one is BRG roof, and yes there are additional headaches and fees importing from CA, but happens all the time. It’s got a ton of miles, but seems to be well kept and maintained. You’d probably want to swap out the km gauge face. You looking for another? Lol.

I'm keeping my eye out lol I would love to pick up another in BRG.
From his listing it's hard to tell if those are miles or KM. If they're miles then he's asking way too much. KM and you're only looking at just over 121k, so not terrible.

I think I probably missed that miles/km so I changed it on the post to 121k miles, but I was talking more about the speedo.

MINIs for sale on the Internet-5iajb75.jpg

Caught me off guard too, was thinking nearly 200k,
but speedo is metric so likely km 's eh?

Also,
is the price in CAD or USD?

$5400 would be a sweet deal, add 500-$1000 to get it here and sorted, and you got yourself a pretty nice ride.

Yeah it's not bad. I do wish it didn't have the tan interior, though this is the first time I've seen it where I don't hate it.

MINIs for sale on the Internet-w5vnq0q.png

Book of Faces get wonky sometimes with linking because of their crappy and hideous interface...

https://www.facebook.com/marketplace...code=undefined

...so I'll also include the pics because it is a rather unusual R53.

2005 JCW (factory? likely perhaps donated motor etc)
151,000 miles?
$5,500

I dig the seats:

Not so much the white side skirt tho:

Unique exhaust:

I'm on/off about the eyes, sometimes I think I like them sometimes I don't,
been tempted to add on mine but can't quite commit.

I'm looking for a R53 JCW. What do you guys think about this deal? Also on FB.

https://www.facebook.com/marketplace...ssenger_banner

For those that don't use FB

202K Miles 06 JCW-$5K
Pepper White
3 Owner (1st owner put all mileage on it up to 150k)
Dealer serviced and southern car
Was "Flat Towed" the reason for mileage, but not sure if mileage is logged if car is off?

definitely not a bad price, but I’d plan on dumping another $2-3k for miscellaneous mechanical and exterior work, then you’ll have an $8k high mile JCW. It adds up fast. If it were me, I’d hold out for something with a better history, and starting point. If you’re looking to get in cheap, and take some chances, this one fits the bill.

Just a heads up for anyone looking for a $15k 2006 JCW with 58k miles. HB, black roof, anthracite headliner, obviously factory install JCW kit. Pics not up yet, I was just chatting with the salesman out of curiosity.

Looks like a good one except 403 kills it for me,
also Canada version? Rather odd that.

Not odd at all - QAC gets in a lot of their stock from Canada

I saw that 3600 mile 2006 R53 for sale on the web ( recently sold on BAT ). It was listed in the ad as an automatic. I called a day or so later to inquire ( it was a manual and I was an hour too late per the salesman ). If you see a rare one, act immediately as I learned. I know what it was listed for sale with the dealer. Not a bad return on your money in a 2 week flip.
I ended up buying a 04 MCS with 54 k miles, original owner, garage kept, stock B.R. Green from a dealer out the door for $8,000 plus tax. I have lived at the beach for 35 years on the East Coast. The cars out West in the dry climate are amazing. You see grandmas driving 1976 Ford Pintos or Bonneville in perfect shape as a daily driver. Very rare to see that on the East Coast unless it is a collector. This is my first Mini since the 04 R53 I had for a year in 2004. Hard to find a low mileage R53 in my area, People love to drive and put the miles on em. You have to be quick if you find a well priced low mileage R53

Dammit! I wondered why the other thread went silent! Finally decided to click around and found this!

Sold my Royal Grey 2006 dealer JCW to my wife's boss a few weeks ago :( Today I sold my 2021 JCW to Carvana (pick up is 4 days from now) :(:(:( but now have a chance to buy back my old Chili Red 2006 factory JCW.... hmmmmmm It will be my only car for a while, so I'm on the fence. Regardless, it's great to be back on the R53 hunt!
