Just ordered a clutch kit from mini mania
and the kit doesn’t come with the Alignment tool and are special ordered from Germany!
anyone around Santa Clarita,Ca have one that I can buy from ? Or know where I can source one?
ive called pretty much everywhere and can’t find one

 

Clutch alignment tools are meant to align the clutch disk and pilot bearing. Your Mini doesn't have a pilot bearing and a tool does very little to help align anything. Just make sure the disk is centered on the pressure plate when installing and you should be good to go. Turn the crank bit by bit when pushing the transmission and the input shaft should slip right in.

Makes it easier to align the parts up so when install the main shaft rod you dont have to rock it with the transmission to wiggle it into place.
