Clutch alignment tool?

Usually when you order a new clutch kit, you get an alignment tool. Not so with Mini

If I purchase an OEM clutch kit, what tool is recommended for centering the friction disc? Or is not having one a non-issue?

I never used such tool. just marry the too and worst case scenario you rotate the engine a bit until it slides in.

+1 on MiniToBe. An alignment tool is not necessary because a MINI has no pilot bearing to align with the clutch disk. Stick a ratchet on the crank bolt and turn it a bit and the input shaft should slide right in.
