MINI Movie

Just watched a new to me MINI movie on The Movie Channel. Name of it is "Pork Pie" and it takes place in New Zealand. It's no Italian Job, but it's not a bad movie if you like Mini's.

Love that orange Mini! Was an OK movie.

I like how they worked several other Minis into some scenes too!

I like the idea of a drive-in movie showing of "The Italian Job" for a mini meetup. Maybe even a double feature of the both the original with Michael Caine and the remake with Marky Mark.

+1 MINI dealers in the past with the clubs had these. Last time I was part of one was during MTTS a couple of years ago.

MOTD has had showings of The Italian Job in the drive-in format. This is the info for this year:

"Join us and MINI of Knoxville as we bring back the Dragon Drive in Movie. Park your MINI on the ballfield or bring your lawn chairs. Funflicks will be bringing a 45' inflatable screen with speakers and fm transmittal. This years feature movie will be The 1969 "Italian Job" which is celebrating it's 50 year Anniversay. The Original "Italian Job"is the quintessential British caper film of the 1960s, The Italian Job is a flashy, fast romp that chases a team of career criminals throughout one of the biggest international gold heists in history.. Rated G"

"You were only supposed to blow the bloody doors off!" A classic.
