Who's Ready For The Dragon? (MOTD)

Just finished registering myself and my Grandson for the event and a couple of runs. Got our room at the Lodge confirmed, so we're ready to go. Only going to be there from Friday through Sunday this time. Grandson's Mama wouldn't let me keep him out of school but one day this year.

Only need to get a few parts installed, get my tune tweaked and the Mini will be ready.

Who else is ready to go?...... Vinnie? Did I hear you say something?

I'm not ready to go...yet. Still have the meth system, the air ride suspension, the 380 injectors, the new tail lights installed and then I'll be ready

I plan to go, but not completely set in stone.

Went for the first time back in 07 (I think).....went through a couple of time periods where I didn’t own a MINI, so I think this might be my 9th MOTD if I can go.

I had just purchased my latest car when I went last year (06 R53 checkmate)....was kind of a shakedown run. Have since completely refreshed the suspension, put on a new exhaust, got a tune, and just had some rust repaired and the bonnet repainted.

Hope it works out I can make it this year!

I'm registered & good to go. Just got new wheels & swapped out the runflats for real tires, so all that's left is 1) the wait and 2) one final wash, wax, pack.

Can't hardly wait!!

I'm getting my R50 ready. I replacing all my black trim on my mini. Tired of wiping my trim to restore the black color. Just replace. Not real expensive an easy to do. Just waiting on my hood trim to come in.

One day I'll get there, it occurs when I'm still in school and teachers don't get vacation days outside summer break.

After a year off to stay with my friend in the hospital, I’m back! Attended 12 years in a row and missed my Dragon Family so much last year. Dragon Run anyone? Lol

Congrats! This year is my fifth trip, and it never gets old.

As long as the weather holds, which it does >90% of the time, you'll have a blast! There's fun to be had even on the not-so-perfect days, but the drives are obviously more enjoyable in the sun than rain.

No matter what, ENJOY!

Finished up the last few things on my mini. Going to work on the paint next weekend. Then it is just some wait time until motd.

New summer sport tires coming in this week. Ordered chassis bones body brace that I will have installed at the Dragon. And hope to have a little wrap done to the sunroof. Not sure if I will get that scheduled in time. Getting the car ready.

It's official...Tuskeegee motel will be closed. And now, my wife isn't going. I need someplace to room if something is available. And now...to go bake some brownies...

Wow. That sucks on both counts. I'm sure if you get on the waiting list at the lodge, a room will open up before the Dragon. I did that for a couple of years before starting to reserve a year in advance. Once you get a room you have the option of doing so every year. Space available usually pops up in various cabins prior to the start also. Look for ward to seeing you again Teddy.

Are they just opening up late this season.....or closed like forever?
