Six figure Mini
Clocked in on 100,000 miles today on my Mini. She is beautiful inside and out, runs perfectly and is free of any wear and tear. The original owner did an impeccable job maintaining the car and I am trying to do the same.
I love the car. A pleasure to see in my garage and a joy to drive. Here is to the next 100k!

As stated many times before , without pictures, it didn't happen. It sounds like the previous owner set a fine example and high standard for you to follow to maintain years more of enjoyment.
I knew when I bought it that I was not buying a Honda or Toyota from the mid 90s in terms of reliability. My 2008 Honda Odyssey is a dream in terms of reliability at 200k, I can only hope to be so fortunate with this car.
As with all manufacturers and brands, the year and model do matter. A good year coupled with regular maintenance should be the right combo.
My only concern is that my car was made early in the R60 production window. Conventional wisdom would say later R60s would likely be more reliable.
But I couldn't afford a 2015 or 16, and the deal I got was sweet. I could not be happier.

Crossing that 100k mile mark is always a special moment for any car enthusiast, and hopefully anyone who drives for that matter. And yeah, if you buy a Mini because you want reliability, you're driving the wrong car.
But in all seriousness, I think you should be fine. Hell, I bought a 2014 Jeep Cherokee Trailhawk couple years ago as my current Daily, so you can see how much I care about reliability. 200-300k miles should be achievable for almost any vehicle as long as it's maintained well. Take care of it, and it'll take care of you.

Getting very close to that on my R58 JCW, I am at 97K.
