Rotors semi-stuck after rain

Lately, I've noticed a day after my R53 has been out in the rain, the brake rotors are slightly stuck. If I slightly drive forward or reverse, it breaks free and works normally.
Is this normal for Mini's?
It rarely rains in Southern California and it's only recently I've been having this issue.

Completely normal. Ours (R53 and R60) do that after a rain, especially if parked for more than one day.

That is so weird! None of my past and current cars (Miata, Altima, Camry) do this.

Yep, Mine have done it with a heavy rain. Seems like the pads float really close to the rotor on MINIs

Thanks for the confirmation. For a moment there, I thought something was about to fall apart!

When this was occurring on my old R50,
it turned out to be a deteriorating e-brake
cable (which snapped a few months later.
The problem disappeared on replacing
the cables.

I don't think my e-brake cable is at fault. I checked it a few months ago and it looks in great shape. Thanks for the input though

Yep, usually it gets really bad in the rear when the salt hits them and the rear parking brake lines stick from salt chewing away the inside cable, check those also while you are there to prevent the rust a little, mine still needed reaplced but it prolonged there life.
