MINI Competition package 2019 WTF?
I came across this video on youtube. He stated that it has pro suspension added from the dealer. It's a JCW he explains. My question is this... if I just bought a 2019 JCW doesn't it have pro suspension?

Adjustable ride height. I put the JCW Pro kit on my F55 S. In warm weather I run about 2” lower than stock in the front and 1.5” rear; in the winter I go back to full height for better snow clearance. 😊

Pre-Load and ride height not the same thing.
I thought it might be preload-only adjustable.... which will actually raise/lower the car...but will also change change the spring forces on the car which limits the ability to find the sweet spot at different ride heights.
For that kind of money... there are plenty of shock choices out there that have compression and rebound damping and independent ride-height-adjustment separate from spring pre-load.

When you realign the ride height, do you have to have the suspension aligned?

If you change ride height, you will change camber...all other things equal.
Lowering the car will move you towards negative camber.
If you are a suspension guru... and know your stuff..or trust in an already "calibrated" setup... then you will know if that change is beneficial to you or not.
Your tires will wear more the further you get away from either extreme.
my 2¢

I have about 2200 miles on my '19 JCW Hardtop. It has the standard "sports" suspension. The more I read about these different suspension options and their cost for installation and parts, I think that I will just stay with my current setup. I like the ride and I like the handling, especially for a daily driver.
I agree with dpcompt - I'm keeping mine just like it is. I love the height and how things. I'd rather spend the cash on Horse Power or another mod for the future. I've had mine less than 3 weeks. Loving every minute of it! JCW ride baby ride!!!
