Roof Box attachment
Hello everyone. First post here and first MINI as well. I just installed a Roof Rack Base on my 09 Clubman S. Someone gave me a Roof Cargo Box but they didn't have the instructions on mounting it. Can anyone help me figure out the correct way the mounting hardware goes. Thanks in advance.

the MINi roof rack base uses what are called T-tracks. The accessories attach to the bars using upside down T shaped bits that fit into the big grooves in the bars.
If your roof cargo box is MINI or BMW branded, it should have the correct fasteners already installed. To attach the box, loosen the thumb screws inside the cargo box, then flip open the black plastic side covers at the end of the rails. Slide the box on, sliding the T shaped bits into the grooves of the rails. Position as you wish then tighten the thumbscrews inside the cargo box. Flip the side covers back up and lock them shut. Done!
