Turn signal triple click not always working

Hey all,

I have a 2012 GEN2 Clubman, and it has started doing something wierd with the 3x click on the turn signal recently. I have it set to 3x in the options, but sometimes it does only does 1x and sometimes 3x while driving.

This morning, on running errands it would not 3x click, only 1x. So I set it to 1x, then reset to 3x in the turn signal stick options (toggling it essentially). Then it worked with 3x for the rest of the day. But I just went out to do one more errand, and even though the option says 3x, it has gone back to doing 1x while driving.

Anyone else have this happen?
Is there a battery or fuse to replace that controls the retention of the settings?

Thanks for help,
Cindy

We have a 2012 MCS, wasn't aware of that option. I can tell you, I have set it so that the doors automatically lock once you hit a certain speed. Occasionally that option turns it's self off and I have to reset it. Annoying sure, but kind of gotten use to it.

The number of blinks for the quick turn signal is stored in the key. One of your keys could be set for one blink and the other for three blinks. Are you using the same key each time you've noticed the problem?
