Dents on my mini

hello,

my my mini has around 7 pin dents around the body and 1 dent which is like a line which is around 2 inches in length, there is also a slight dent on the roof, would it be possible to get these dents repaired and do you guys think it would cost me much? Thanks

Oh and also I have some stone chips on the body, could I get these repaired at a body shop or would that not be possible? Sorry this is my first car so getting everything fixed up so it’s perfect! It’s my pride and joy

I would try one of those PDR, (paintless dent repair) places before a body shop. They’re usually cheaper and can done less than a day. The dent or dents must have a good painted surface for it to work though.

yeah most of the dents don’t have any paint damage, the dent on the roof does, the roof is black and has some paint chipping where the dent is, could a body shop repair this?

Either the typical shop or the paintless but with the paintless you would have to do your own touch up. I had a guy come to my house and he did two quarter size and two dime sizes for like $180.00

If you need to paint the whole roof you're looking at 7-800 bucks depending on color. I would try the PDR and touch up paint first. There are some decent touch up kits available. Just be prepared to spend some time on it and not get impatient.

The problem with spot patches is the blending in. Suggest you post a picture of ding you are concerned about.

It will never match the rest of the car. Paint, like anything fades so matching the faded color will be next to impossible

I used the paintless dent person, it works great for small dime size dents.

On the paint I would do the whole roof otherwise you will see it even if they try to blend it.

Hey guys, sorry haven’t replied in ages, still haven’t managed to get the dent fixed, want to get it fixed soon though, would it be possible for a pdr guy to fix the dent on the roof, when looking at the dent there is hardly any paint damage

They should. All they do is get access to the dent from under something so in your case the headliner
