I'm new here and so green I won't burn, I just lay there and smoke! I am recently retired, my wife will soon retire and of course we are making plans for the future. We are planning to buy a Winnebago View RV and looking for a vehicle to tow behind it. Having long lusted for a Mini Roadster it seems to be a great choice for a tow vehicle. Can anyone here clue me in to things I would run into but may not be so commonly known. One of the big reasons to choose the View is the economy and ease of travel with a small coach. As with all such choices in life comes trade offs. The Mercedes V6 powered coach with a tow limit of 5000 lbs. does indeed cause the list of tow-able vehicles collapse to just a few. The roadster would be a fine choice from the weight perspective and since I have been thinking about one for the last few years anyway, it would seem to be a win-win situation. So, can I get some feedback from some who have "been there and done that"? It would be greatly appreciated.
