What if 2003 Coupe was produced

Yes, it's a model. Hello, I haven't been on for a long time because I don't own a real MINI, but I still have 3 Fujimi model kits. I just completed this modified model, because I have always wondered what a Coupe version could have looked like. It was shortened 8" (full size), windshield was tilted back, a Porsche 911 windshield was modified for the back window, roof was shortened 16" and sectioned at the rear, and the profile was modified. A few other modifications to the interior, and the wing was scratch-built.
Thought someone would be inspired to customize the real thing.

Looks like the Paceman! Only a wee bit smaller.

Yea, that's right! I had one for a loaner one time when Trigger was in the shop. Too big for me.

I try not to build "normal" models.

I see the forum has a 'thanks' button now.

It would be interesting to see at scale your "coupe" next to a Paceman. For me the only reason why I would not buy an AKurt Coupe would be that if I was not able to fit into the car due to my height.

I'm 6'-2", guess what the most common question for me was?

I didn't look before, but I see there is a die cast model of the Paceman. I had one for a loaner from the Snottsdale dealer, it seemed huge to me.

Was on a group tour on Saturday. We get to the gathering point and on my way back from making a pit stop I see my friend, that is also a good sized guy, and this large guy talking to him. Must have been 6-8 and would put him at 260 at least. His plate said Big Foot.

We did some runs and as he had some old tires there were allot of us wishing big foot was at the tail end. Talking between a run I said that my friend and I were retired and always looking for guys that wanted to make some twisty runs. Big Foot's buddy that was the copilot said he was interested and that he had a modded VW. I said sure but looked in at Big Foot said he could come but he had to go faster. He was in the car so I figured I could get away from him before he jumped out to stump my sorry ***.
