Quick question.. r56 and r52 rear control arms the same?
As title says.. aftermarket places say they are all compatible, but are all the rear oem control arms all the same size top and bottom?
People go with the R53 to R56 conversion kit. Same on the R52.
Used to be the R53 to R53 GP conversion as those were the first to have the lighter trailing arms in aluminum

The early control arms that were two piece welded steel had a slight tendency to crack, so I would recommend the later arms (rectangular).
Is there a go to list or another thread that better explains what to get from the junk yard? My local pull & pay has a near complete 2010 Mini Cooper. I just need to know what parts I need to remove from the donor vehicle. The parts on going on a 2005 Mini Cooper convertible with the JCW package.

But you will need our spacers to mount them up to the R53 shocks

You have to take EVERYTHING including the bolts, wheel speed sensors.
