Photo Request: Chili Red R52 with Black/Tan interior

Trying to get back into a MINI after a 2 year hiatus.. Saw an ad for a Chili Red R52 with tan/black interior. The MINI in question is a JCW that has been vinyl wrapped in matte black. For this reason its very difficult for me to visualize Chili Red on tan/black, which doesn't seem like an obvious color scheme.

Can anyone post a couple photos? I've done the Google image search with no joy.

I think I'm going to pull the trigger. Its an '05 JCW chrome package, driving lights, with EVERY option (Nav), 79k miles for $7500. Looks to be in good shape, no rust, new tires.

I've never owned a cabrio version, just an '03 R50, '04R 53, and '06 R53. Only two more years and I have a Bingo! I've had 2 Indi Blues and (black interior and that god awful two toned blue/black) and electric blue and english leather black.

Normally I wouldn't care too much, but a convertible is much more out in the open.

Sounds like a good buy, let us know how it goes. Any questions, please ask!

I'm assuming you checked the Chili Red thread here on NAM?

I was always a fan of the black / tan seats, but every time I went to see one it was the carpet / door trim that kept me from buying one. IMO its a pity that Mini didn't give the option of just having the tan on the seats, with black carpets and black door cards

The red door sill against the black and tan interior might be as close as you get to comparison. In addition, consider a good ol' Guinness 'Black and Tan' as your new preference.
For the price, mileage and what it is there's no question - go for it.

Agree 100%. Same with the Lapis Blue interior. Like the seats, but blue carpet?? Bleh!

I'm looking into what it would take to replace the carpet, door trim, random bits to make it a little more conspicuous. I'm not a flashy guy, and I'm already pushing it with the Chili Red on chrome.

I did check the Chili Red thread, but I'll look again. I think the sweet sound of the JCW growl and snap, crackle, pop will ease the pain of the interior if its ugly in person. 1st world problem, right?

Finally found a couple! Had to search Cars.com and select tan interior and there was ONE Cooper, happened to be a convertible too! Rare option I guess. Honest opinion? I think I'll get some black Weathertech mats to help balance the tan.
