repairs suggested from Dealership

I dropped my mini off at the dealership yesterday to get an oil change. They did a Courtesy World class inspection on it before/afterwards. Now Im not doubting that they want to make sure that my car is top notch running and moving condition. I had a four wheel alignment done 2 weeks ago along with repairing a back driver side camber issue. The list of repairs recommended by the dealership says to have a four wheel alignment done. Any suggestions?

Four wheel alignment: I had a four wheel alignment done 3 weeks ago, when a camber problem was found. I dropped it off 2 weeks ago for the camber issue to be repaired, (camber arm) and a four wheel alignment was done again. so in 3 weeks I had the alignment done twice. And the dealer is still saying that it needs to be done. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I hate dealers. For an alignment I would just take it to an indy shop. Most will check the alignment for free. If you truly need one then get it done. Separate note though is why would you need 3 alignment done in such a short period. Something is going wrong.

Every 37,000 miles the dealership recommends a radical walletoplasty
or a credit card balancectomy.

ok cool ty. I had 2 done. The first time I dropped it off just for an alignment. Had it done. The second time it was done was because I had a repair done on the back wheel. To fix the camber/caster in/out toe.

I took it to a local shop here in my town. My boss has all of his trucks serviced there and I have had my other car serviced there as well.

Squeaky wheel gets the grease, or in this case maybe a free second alignment....I think considering it was there 3 weeks earlier for uneven tread wear issue requiring an alignment and since the alignment tech missed detecting the worn out part during that service, I would have "pushed back some" on that bill....

the second alignment was free of charge, it took a couple of days for the part to be delivered. He did detect it the first time that is the reason it was dropped off again.

I would have had something to say if they tried charging me again for an alignment.

if the tech didn't know it was just done he may well be looking at your tires which i assume still show odd wear.

Thats what could have happened. Did you replace the upper strut mounts on the rear and check the control arms to make sure they are not bent ?
