Performance and gas mileage

Changed thermostat with lower settings will reduce my gas mileage, i have noticed im getting less or just my imagination, with A/C on temperature been betweem 178-192F.

Yup....cooler thermostat means the car will stay in closed loop....basicly warm-up. In some seasons you may get a code also.

So far been 4 months now and no code, only gas mileage or maybe the way i drive.....thanks.

+1 runs a bit cooler and not optimum on the efficiency of the fuel / air.

Custom paint on the gauge to match the , dash , very nice. Wow rare to see a dash pad anymore, seen some MINI in vegas with them .

If the low speed fan kicks in at 221F in which I heard it cycled on and off while the A/C is on but the gauge shows lower temperature, that's confused me.
My question is at what pressure on the A/C system allows the fan to activates? Are both separate settings?

When you turn the A/C on the fan will kick on , no matter what the temp as a precondition. So will the little P/S fan.

I believe its an override, like a/C on, then fans on.
