Using tow hook for accessories

After seeing the Craven Platypus attachment for license plates made me wonder why no one uses the rear tow hook access for accessories such as spare tire mount.

I use the rear tow hook access with the other Craven accessories, such as tow hook and GoPro mount. However, since there's only one, I think you'd have trouble keeping anything heavy, attached.

Good idea, but with one mounting point it would bounce around, check with MINI FINI, they have some rear hitch spare tire options.

Just figured they may have a system to screw in accessories with a second nut to lock it secure. Just thinking. . . Not my strong point.
