Will '11 MCS wheels fit a 2005 MCS?

Both are 17". I assume both are 4x100 pattern, but wondering about offset, brake clearance, etc.

Whats wheels. Most gen1 MCS wheels will fit Gen 2 MCS. Vice versa. The big thing is if you have the Factory Gen 2 JCW Brembo or another BBK kit. Then you would need to measure and use spacers.

No problem - 17" 2nd Gen wheels will fit all 1st Gen cars which have standard or JCW brakes (since 1st Gen JCW brakes are 2nd Gen standard S brakes). Lots of Mini OEM wheels are used on both 1st and 2nd Gen models.

Thanks. Pretty sure my S has std brakes. I have the 17" S-lites, the ones I found are the 2011 8-spoke 17s that look similar but have slightly sharper edges to the design.

Not quite - those look like they are meant to have full center caps/covered lugs. These are the ones I am considering:

Those are R121 Conical spoke wheels 17x7" et48, 22 lbs

by comparison the S lytes are the heaviest MINI wheel at 25 lbs each.
