R53 GP Auction on Bring a Trailer

Anyone looking for a nice GP1? There is one over on bringatrailer.com and right now the price is right. $8000 with a bit over two days to go. I have no connection to this auction other than I love getting the daily bring a trailer email and I would love to see someone here get a great car.

Looks like it was driven, pretty stock, some stains on the seat, extra cup holder broken, and have a alcantara JCW steering wheel.

Mine now. Or will be as soon as the transport gets to TX from CA. Stain on the seat is allegedly taken care of (seller had it detailed prior to sale but not before photos) and has records, keys, and a few extras like mats and the OEM rear sway bar. The JCW wheel is a nice little bonus, and it looks like it will need only tires in the near future. I'll share when it arrives and I've got more details.

Also, final purchase price was $15,750.00, which I feel is right in the middle of the market pricing for this mileage and condition. I don't think I stole it, but it was definitely a fair price.

Already have my wish list on ECS for my 2010 Cooper, and started another for the GP. Looks like there may be a couple of small needs to make it "just right" that I will be addressing down the line.

In the meantime, since it finally just arrived today, I am going to drive the wheels off of it and enjoy it to the fullest. It has less mileage than I was thinking, so....
