Can someone help me with speed sensitive audio setting

It's getting quite annoying .

Il be driving and regular speeds (city) then all of sudden , my volume just drops down to a ridiculous limit . Then it doesn't allow me to out it back up. I've tried my sensitivity setting at 1 and 6 and it still does It at random times .

Can I turn it off or can someone explain to me why and when it happens and how to avoid it

Could it be your amp is going out? If you have the HK tuned on an early gen 1 I know that is pretty common. You can also look up the pin diagram for the back of your stereo head and remove the speed sensitive volume lead.
