I'm afraid the company is out of business but they left their auto charge the credit card up and running. There is no way to contact them.

Yep they have had zero positive customer service in over a year. Last report he was having medical issues but when I talked to him on the phone nothing put promises to get it shipped and he had it on hand either way almost impossible to get the module from FES.

Contact your CC company and ask them for the refund or to get the charge back. I used Paypal and they did it for me.

I had to buy one from a forum member. Great product, fair price, No service...

If you didn't receive the product, contact your CC company and request a reversal. Been there, takes about one billing cycle to get it reversed.

 

Sorry to revive an old thread but since my GF had purchased a board from FES back in December and not heard a word or received anything, we decided to pursue the issue.

After some digging around (don't ask how) I actually managed to get a working cellphone number and spoke to Matt from FES this morning.

The issue as he stated was that his business partner is now in Germany and has since picked up another job, thus leaving FES to one person only: Matt. FES has basically imploded, and this happened while Matt was on "winter break" (whatever that means). Anyways, he stated he would be talking to the bank today or tomorrow to reverse the charges or mail checks out to those individuals who were charged and did not receive their products. This is supposed to happen within the next few weeks but we shall see if he adheres to his word.

I don't represent him, so please don't ask me any questions as I've posted all I know so far. As I learn more, I will pass it on to you all.

I've no horse in this race as I've already picked up an older Ian Cull circuit board and installed it in my car (btw, it is awesome). If a new board happens to show up, I'll sell the one I have but not until then. Apparently these are rare as hens teeth, and made from the tears of unicorns.

 

Good luck folks. At one time Matt & FES were good, that time has now past. Why the heck that site is still up, running & taking peoples money is the question???

 

That was my question but I forgot to ask. I'm betting he'd pin the blame on his former business partner but that's a guess...

 

Did he say he actually had product available or is he just going to refund money? I placed an order the beginning of December, have called, left emails etc. I never got a hold of anyone. I'd still love the product but I'll take my money back too.

 

No product at this time. Apparently he doesn't have any parts to produce the boards, so I'd not get your hopes up on getting one. I asked him if he would eventually be producing them, his response was he couldn't say one way or the other, which is why he is issuing returns.

I'm going to explore the option of building them as I have access to lots of electronics companies in the area. I just need the schematics and software...
