What's the buzz?
While cleaning the interior of my Roadster, I noticed a buzzing or humming sound emanating from all speakers.
I guess I never noticed it before. I was working on the car with the garage door closed. Perhaps the ambient outside noise drowned the buzzing out. The even stranger discovery was the fact that I could turn on and play the stereo without the key in the ignition. It would play without any kind of auto shut off. I found this a bit strange. Apparently, you can accidentally leave your stereo on for hours and the system does nothing to conserve power and turn it off. No matter whether the stereo was on or off, the buzzing continued. I even checked my Clubman and heard the same sound emanating from the speakers.
Anyone else notice this buzzing and if so, was it brought to the attention of your service department and what was their response?

That is normal for BMW and MINI vehicles, except that it should shut off by itself after about 20 minutes.
