JCW on a Cooper?

Buzzing up the Jones Falls Expressway in Murder City today I came upon a white over green MC and noticed the John Cooper Works stick on the back end.
Was I seeing things or do Mini drivers put JCW decals on the back end without putting the "Works" inside?
How much extra HP does this give the MC?

From what I know, the JCW Cooper is a European only dealer add-on. It bumps hp to 124. MINI does not bring it to the US, they believe if you want more hp, buy a MCS. Let's start a petition to have them bring it to the US. Some people do not like forced induction, like me.
