Scangauge question

Just fitted a Scangauge and everything came up straight away so no problems there however every time I start the car it reverts to the home screen........is that normal or can you set it up to always show gauges as the default?

Yes it is coded for MINI, I can see the five additional options (plus the sticker on the back!).
First impressions are really good but I haven't taken it on a decent run yet. I assumed it would always stay on gauges but it didn't today - if I'm lucky it will sort itself out overnight.

Left it overnight and used it 3 times today - gauge fired up perfectly every time.
I'm seeing water temp @ 104, engine & oil both reading about 214, gearbox @ 220 and max boost of 10.5 but that wasn't in the lower gears. Are they about right?

Yes. At least, the water and engine temps sound normal. (Water would be in C, engine in F for those to be normal I think.)

Got a few miles on the clock now so a few comments on what I've seen so far.
Generally all temperatures run at about 220 (gearbox is about 10 degrees lower). What was surprising was that when I go to WOT the engine temps drop about 20 - I assume they would increase again if I carried on at the same rate.
During warm up oil lags water by about 30 which is normal but while most people worry about the engine coming up to temp the gearbox is at least another 30 behind.
