Are you thinking plastidip or a wrap for the purple? I just recently came across a pic of a really nice purple wrap but unfortunately I can't remember where it was.
I dont have any idea how to do vinyl wrap so I'll likely try my hand at dipping it all. Im not % 100 on the purple yet... may go for a green... idk I want to do somethinf different...wish I could do a matte copper-ish color with all black accents... that would be pretty cool as well I think.
ALL4TURBO did a few different color combos in the course of the thread (if you're scanning through, the pics are url links). The great thing about PD - no need to commit to one color combo for long!
I like the color contrast. Turning out very well keep up the good work.
Thanks! I have to redo the passenger side rear arch piece, when I was removing the masking tape it stuck to the dip and pulled it off in one spot. Oh well, learning experience
just did this over the weekend, using the stuff was mad easy, my lines however are not the greatest, the plasti dip did not want to cut on the lines as well as i hoped, so i may have to go back and trim off 1/16th'' off each side to clean it up... i still have a blue stripe to make as well.... i do like the camo design alot
So I'm either going to dip the entire LB Mini this exact color... or one of these other pearl combo's any advice is greatly appreciated or thoughts. Purple/Blue, Purple/Green, Copper/Green, Copper/Orange. It will have 2 -3 coats of glossifier added on top as does the picture in this post.

Nice tires, copycat :p Seriously tho, that looks pretty slick.

thos BF's are nice and grippy, i only used 2 cans for that whole stripe, 1 white and 1 black, they still have a bit in them and it was like 8-10 coats, i stopped counting cause i wanted it too look nice
The two piece wheels have a natural break on the lip making the dip easy to peel, without lifting where it shouldn't. I did tape a few inches on the wheel side but not the tire side. In hind sight I would apply a bit of tire dressing(tire shine) first. The dip really likes to stick to the rubber. It does peel off, but not with great ease.
2 piece wheel, nice. I want to do the same thing you did on your wheels but I have 1 piece wheels. I guess I could tape it then cut along the tape edge.
Kinda copied you, myquite. Just did the rims and antenna this afternoon after work. Clean up took longer than the dipping. Boyfriend didn't want to tape anything off. Instead he scored the dip about a minute after all the coats were on.
