I love the new Blaze blue Plasti Dip. So easy to use. I did this with a black base, not the white they recommend for the brighter blue. Not much work and when I am done with the color I can peel it off or simply spray another color on top..
I picked up everything at Dipyourcar.com. I'm sure there are other places but I like dealing with them.

Very nice! I really like how the grill surround turned out. Do you have a picture of the whole car to see it all together?
Looks like the mirrors turned out well. You may want to try the Glossifier to give it more of a shine. WMW sells the plastidip sprays, it is really fun and easy to remove if you mess up.
Whats the life expectancy of the Plasti Dip? Especially on such forward facing parts.
It would really depend on how thick you put it on, and how much stuff hits it. But I know from experience it holds up really well, and easy to redo if need be.
I'm interested in doing it to my Pepper White mirror caps. Sounds like 3-4 coats should do it.
Is it really that easy to take off? In case I mess it up.
I can do a quick update and say that all of the original piece I Plasti Dipped are holding up just fine. I color matched the wheels in Blue and they are also holding up very well.
As for Plasti Dip. I have fallen in love with the product. It is not for everyone. That is cool. I get it. I really do. But for others, it seems to be a growing trend among all kinds of car owners. Some do it to show off with bright colors. Some like to cover chrome in black. Some will spray clear as a front end protectant. Lots of track day guys do that..
It actually might look better if the wheels weren't matched. Too much of a good thing...
The wheels are just filthy in that pic. They are not the same color but I agree theres a lot of blue.. At the time I couldn't settle on a new wheel color so i left it.
I am changing the cars color again tomorrow. Blue will be gone..

I actually love it. Might have to buy stock in plasti-dip if you keep it up
