For those sticky sunroofs
For those sticky sunroofs
Been absent several months but discovered something to fix my sticky sunroof when I have to leave it out in the sun. Just a couple hours and it wouldn't open till I ran a ways and cooled it off.
I've been using a product called Zombie One Shot to clean, lube and protect firearms. All the tracks in my roof were coated with the stickiest greasy gunky mess you ever saw. Sprayed it down a bit at a time and used an old toothbrush , some rags and a pointed wooden stick to get to the tough parts. The One Shot goes on wet and eliminated the gunk with ease. When it is wiped or allowed to evaporate it leaves a dry lube. My roof works great now. Did it about 10 days ago. Use at your own risk!
