I'm a fan. What I don't think they should do is build this and put the exact same engine in it that all the other cooper models have. I want some variety! Maybe an inline 6?....Would be interesting...

No the countryman is enough for 4 door MINIs it will never have a bigger engine because if you want more power BMW would rather sell you a BMW.

The roofline reminds me of a Mazda3 wagon, though it would be on a smaller scale (and MUCH smaller than a Panamera).

Technically speaking, a 4 door sedan would have B pillars, and a 4 door coupe would not. That's my understanding, at least.

Lacks scale. It either has no headroom (and is on a similar scale to the Countryman) or it has headroom but is huge.
