Question for Reef Blue owners

I'm about to order a convertible S and I'm leaning towards Reef Blue. I loved the color in the showroom, its a rich, deep navy. I've seen pictures of it in the sun where it looks like it might have a purple tone to it. My MA say's no but I want to make sure. To the Reef Blue owners out there, does the color still look navy in the sun or is it purple? Is it as hard to keep clean as black? Do you have stripes? What color? I'm thinking of going with the white sports stripes. Also, any pics would be greatly appreciated! Thanks for the feedback - NAM motorers are the best motorers!

I don't own a Reef Blue MINI, obviously, but I did just see one earlier this week at MINI of Portland, standing up close it does look black, it was parked amongst a gazzilion other MINIs so I couldn't tell you what it would look like from far away.
As far as the stripes go, I wouldn't do white unless you are planning to do a White Roof, I'd do something more custom like a matte Dark Gray or something. It is a personal choice of course, that is how and why MINIs are so YOUnique!!
