The Events portion of NAM never seems to get enough traffic... So this year I thought I would post this here.

Hey MINIACS!! Year 5 of MINIS to the Point is here! Here are the vitals:

When: Saturday - May 18, 2013 @ 8:00 a.m.

Where: MINI of Southampton to Montauk Point (NY)

What’s different this year? Three things – our starting point will be MINI of Southampton’s brand new show room, or should I say HUGE showroom in Southampton. Breakfast and restrooms people – that’s all I can say!!

Second big change? This year’s event will be a charity affair to raise money for the Wounded Warrior Project. I’m soliciting vendors now and will be creating a page on my website (www.ministothepoint.com) with a complete listing of charity items to be raffled and participating vendors.

Third change – since our starting point is new this year, our route out to Montauk will be adjusted from previous years.

Our first vendor has stepped to the plate - Integral Audio. I can't say that I'm surprised; Kevin is a stand up guy. Full Sound Stage + Sub will be up for auction - bidding to start at $1,000. If you've seen this set-up and been waiting to pull the trigger, this may be your best chance to get it. And contribute to a great cause!

T-shirt orders have to be sent to the T-shirt dude by April 30th! A beautiful, black Roadster adorns this year's shirt since they came all the way from South Carolina for MTTP 4.

A little bump... A little more than a month 'til we MOTOR! Would love to see some NAM MINIS in person!

 

We've reached 30 MINIS. Only one week left to order T-shirts - April 30th is the last day.

Also - doing a little dry run out to the Point this Saturday. Leaving MINI of Southampton at 12:00 sharp - just me and two other MINIS if you want to have a little fun. Just sayin'.

 

I would love to do this! Picking up my car the end of this week, long as all goes according to plan my wife and I are in.

Yes my first MINI an '09 Clubman from Habberstad. Getting it Friday afternoon.

 

Matt from Habberstad is one of my leaders for the run. Good folks over there!

 

Absolutely great people there. I wouldn't of bought my new mini anywhere else.

 

Well they were nice enough to deal with and I am very happy to say I finally picked up my car today. My wife cracked up soon as she saw it she knew it was mine.

Count us in for sure for the 18th!

 

Dry run was a blast today.

For those keeping track of the run here - we're up to 50 MINIS. Which is a good thing, but the restaurant won't hold all of us at once.

So it's like high school - pick a lunch period!

12:00 or 1:30. Let me know!

Most that are picking the 1:30 lunch period are going to stay around the light house and do some sight seeing.
