Is he totalled?! Front end damage

Usually if the airbags went off, or the top of the motor got wacked, yes, totaled unless the car is VERY new.
Can't say for sure without looking at what was moved/broken, but much will depend at what % of value your insurance company calls a car gone...seeminimly simple options, like rental car coverage when the car might take 45 days to fix can tip the scales towards getting $$ for a new(er) car.
Either way, sounds like you are ok, so you mini did its job!! Good luck.

lol...my thoughts exactly, but then again, why are cars still put on jigs/measuring tables to straighten them.....just not the frame, but subframes, subassemblys, etc....body shops still say frame straightening, etc...so it is an industry issue as much as consumer education.

Oh well just gotta wait. I hope you have full coverage on the car. Just from experience I can tell you one thing, the repair process can take a month or more. I am not getting my car back till the 22nd of February and my car went in the shop on January 13. Keep us updated though, I am sure a lot of the people here can help you if you need help with anything!

Well lets see I got in a 5mph fender bender and it cost $3k in damage for me and most of what happened here happened to mine but, a lot more. Remember it is not how much damage is done to the car. It is how much it will cost vs. how much the car is worth. Also if it is totaled I would love to buy some parts off of it.

When I got into my accident a few years ago... it took about 2 months to repair everything. But they also did a ton of work on the thing. They pretty much replaced the entire front clip of the car and it was a frame machine for a time. They also had to remove the engine for some reason or another (it was like 5 years ago and I dont remember exactly why). Just be glad your airbag didnt go off as that was the only "injury" I had. Which was a minor burn on my forearm. Your car really doesnt look totaled though.

Doesn't look totaled. But hey, I've only been in the collision business 32 years. Looks like a high hit. Not happy about the motor damage, that can't be helpful. Most states will look around 75% of vehicle value before considering a vehicle a total loss. Here in VA, we have the "salvage act" where any vehicle 7 model years old or new, can not be repaired once the repair cost reaches the 75% threshold. It appears most everything damaged is a bolt on item. With a high hit like that, it probably wouldn't deploy the air bags (or SRS for the perfectionists). There is a sensor that measures the force of the impact and the upper components give more that the structure.
As for the comment about "frame rails" yes, unibody cars don't have actual
"frame" rails. However they do have "side members" that form a longitudinal structure similar to what used to be referred to as the frame. And even in the industry, we still refer to them as frame rails. ChefTyGuy was raised in a collision repair shop, so he most surely knows the difference from a body on frame design and a unitized body vehicle. But thanks for trying to correct him.

Car is not totaled but almost 10k in damage.
Going to take about 11 days to repair once parts are received.
Hoping to make sure that I can get the black OEM trim and headlights since they want to replace with chrome trim then dechrome and paint black.
Does anyone know the Part numbers or where to look for the Black OEM Headlight Housing and the Black OEM trim part numbers?

Nice to see you came out of this OK and that your MINI is getting fixed.
You make want to take this as an opportunity to mix and match MINI parts...for example if you don't have the aero front end and that is something that you want, ask the body shop to add it in and if there is a difference in price you cover the difference.
If you are interested in MINI part numbers here is a good place to start:
