Extra garage space

One of the best things about my new MINI is the extra room I have in my garage because the small foot print of the car. I no longer bang my door on the wall (you can see where my old car always hit the wall) and I can fit both my scooter and my car in the bay at the same time with plenty of room to get around.

Same here, that's why my mini is in the garage and not my wife's 4Runner

When my father bought his MINI he put that in the garage instead of his Toyota Sequoia... It felt like you could almost fit 2 MINIs in there

I know, I was sorely tempted by the Smart. I love the looks of them.

Slightly off topic but a woman at work was questioning me about my MINI and I told her I thought about a Smart. She said, "you would look stupid in a Smart". I thought to myself, here is someone who commutes 60 miles daily in an FJ and thinks people in Smart cars look stupid? But pointing out the logic flaw in prejudices never works so I just smiled.

When we bought our MINI last summer my wife wanted it in the garage - so I had to shuffle everything around to do it. Luckily I have a good sized garage and the MINI is so small I was able to put five motorcycles in front of it. My wife is very happy now.

You are - I had to work my way up to a garage that size - but our MINI's give us more room!

I WANT YOUR GARAGE!!!!

We only have a one-car garage, and we have two rather old cars, one of which is not very reliable. Makes things "interesting" at times...

We moved here from a home with a very narrow one car garage and we couldn't even park our car in it. A couple of bicycles, a lawn mower and a few boxes almost filled it up. The garage was a big plus when we moved here.
