Obama badge?
Obama badge?
Hey all, I had a sweet magnetic badge for the last election that was just the hope symbol (the red sun thing). I cannot for the life of me remember who made it or find it online anywhere (mine was swiped). Any ideas? Thanks!
My sister could probably help you. I'd ask her but the family has disowned her dye to her political beliefs. Sorry.

They have magnets here: http://www.obamavolunteers.com/ and here: https://store.barackobama.com/ but not just the logo. Last time, I cut the logo out of a larger, uglier magnet, and put that on my car.
Yep, us right winger ***** are so bad we have a Republican Mayoral candidate here who is openly gay. Its comments like yours that make conservatives shake their heads. Such statements are in fact more apt to be attached to people who protest big corporations, defy authorities to disband after said protest and then tear up public property while they "occupy" and area. Never mind them spitting on folks and then calling people like me "baby killers" as I walk by. Seems to me when it comes to tolerance, the left talks about it, the right actually does it by just accepting that "you can't fix stupid" and moving forward to try and fix the problem.
Too funny on the Godwin comment!

To the OP, I'm sure Googling "Obama Car Badge" should turn up something...

How's that for tolerant?
Hey Jarhead... (I use the term affectionately, as I served 1980-1990 as the only thing lower than a Marine, a submariner...lol) I'm sorry some idiot called you a baby killer. It's never happened to me, and I really bet it would be rare in this era of support or troops hysteria...
As a life long member of the Republican party, my current views of this newly evolving conservative thing that calls itself the Republican party is better left in an off topic forum.
Anyway, THANK YOU! for your service. I do sleep better at night knowing you and yours are out there standing watch for us. (even though I have nightmares about Michelle Bachmann, Rand Paul, Christine O'Donnell, Sarah Palin, Todd Akin, Paul Ryan et al... A truly frightening group of idiots...)

Hey Richard,
No worries, it was a bit of a shock (one of those "Did that scuzzy "Occupy Wallstreet" kid just actually say that?!?!?") but, eh, the kid obviously had no clue. Ironic, when you think about it. The Iraqis (some of them anyways, depending on where you were in the country) greeted us better than some of our own people.
As to being a bubblehead...errr...I mean submariner; cool! My twin brother was a nuke on the Rickover (which is now razor blades). I don't know how you guys could handle the runs. Even on a troop ship, I was always first in line for any operation, just to get off the frigging boat!
I'd rather be cold/hot, muddy and tired and in a open area, than crammed in with 200 people in a space the size of an average house, surrounded by fuel tanks, with racks going up to the ceiling.
Served from 88-98, then got called back in '03...to go finish the job we should have done in '91. Permanently in the 4th CivDiv now; living the life, living the dream brother! :D

It was a bit bigger than a house...lol 425 ft long, 33ft abeam, 16 ICBMs with 8-10 independently targeted re-entry vehicles... (that's nuclear weapons to everybody else...lol) Plus Mk 48 adcap torpedoes. What's not to love...
Anyway, I was a nuc too. MM1(SS), got out, got a degree in mechanical engineering, then went racing...lol
OP, sorry about the thread hijack... Oh, and yes, I'm voting for President Obama... (again)
