I'd wager most Mini owners are conservative (if not just an older age in general). Makes sense.

Mini = fun, economical and largely practical vehicle.

Common sense with a bit of fun mixed in would seem a good fit for Republicans, Independents and blue dog Democrats.

To each their own, eh? That's what makes this country great.

I live in Canada, so I try to keep my opinions on US politics to myself, generally. It's none of my business, after all!

Until California tries to invade us for our abundant fresh water, anyway

I hope you can find one. It could be quite collectible one day as it represents our nation's first Black President,
43 months of unemployment above 8 %
16 Trillion dollars of debt
Constant blame of the prior administration
Selling of guns to the drug cartels
Taxing all to pay for the children of the few who just dont give a damn
and on and on

I don't want to move forward. I want to move Beyond

When I was in the US military, there was a rule for eating at any of the officer's clubs - discussion could be about ANYTHING but politics or religion. I thought that was a pretty smart guideline and suggest it is equally appropriate here. Infusing Obama or Romney in any topic is going to create a lot of friction and animosity from those of us who already are convinced of our own political ideologies and ultimately the discussion will go nowhere. I have my own strong opinions on the subject but I am reluctant to join the fray and dilute the sense of goodwill I have enjoyed here.

One of the nice things about talking cars is that we don't have to go there. I'm hoping the mods see it that way and lock down this thread.
