Couldn't be happier!

It's been 3 weeks now and I couldn't be happier with my new R59. Went out to dinner tonight with my wife and we took her car, a very nice 2011 Outback Limited. (She has a really bad knee, surgery is likely in the near future, so getting in and out of the MINI is a problem.)

I used to think it was a nice handling mid-size, that is until I started driving the MINI. Now it feels sluggish and clumsy.

My challenge is now going to be keeping the milage low enough to qualify for the discount on my auto insurance. Right now the chances of my getting that discount is looking pretty slim. I know I won't be putting many miles on my Fiat 500.

Now I'm eagerly waiting for the cooler winter temps. Top down all the time!

Congratulations on your happiness.

I bought my wife a Clubman S and she hardly ever drives her Toyota Highlander anymore.

I have an older convertible that hasn't had the top up in more than five years - but that's one of the nice things about living in California and having many vehicles and a big garage.
