I finally did it!
I finally did it!
After 5 long years of waiting and moping and driving my Mazda 3i touring (which was still a good car mind you), I FINALLY PULLED THE TRIGGER!
$25295 out the door (with tax title tag fees and everything) Sticker price was 23850 and 7% florida sales tax means I did fairly well for myself. This also included my trade in on the Mazda 3i, which I got pretty much an even trade on from what I owed on it (which is fair given KBB and Nada Guides). In all I am only paying about 90 dollars more a month (I added gap insurance) to have the car i've ALWAYS FREAKIN' WANTED!
She's a 2011 Midnight black with white roof and mirrors. 12098 Miles. Manual Transmission. Bi-Xenon Headlamps with the black headlamp covers, HK system, dual pane sunroof, center armrest, and the rubber all weather mats. The only negatives i've seen is a small dent on the passenger side and the head rests in the back seats were missing (going to check back at the dealer to see if they have them, but honestly I was going to remove them anyways for better visibility. She was also nicely tinted (but I'm wondering if it's legal tint or not).
I know I am still in the honeymoon period with the car, but coming from my Mazda she is so incredibly fun to drive.

Check out Sunshineminis.org - the Florida MINI Club forum for local events and information. There are lots of activities going on and it's a great way to meet other MINIacs.

She is beautiful! Congratulations and have a ball in your new toy!!!!
Congrats!! Oh, I love black MINI's! I so wish I could have found one (although I love my Indi Blue)
I too came from a Mazda3 (2005 sport hatchback). Loved her for 4 years, but I felt I needed something sportier, and I was itching to drive a manual. Great car, no complaints (besides those pesky motor mounts lol). Enjoy the ride! :D

Welcome! Congrats on your new MINI. The SSM club is fantastic. We belong to the Panhandle SSM; we got to meet other SSM members form other parts of FL at MOTD this year. Definitely check them out. Great group of people!
