Will automatics fart? I put mine in sport mode the other day....but didn't really hear anything. I need to learn how to use the paddle shifters too.

I think Pumpkinhead has an automatic (I don't think his is a stock jcw?) and he says his farts! But Winston is a stick shift and I still can't get him to fart. Maybe we're not feeding ours enough beans?

 

 

Open all the windows (plus the pano if you have one), switch off the radio, drive under an overpass (or through a parking garage), and downshift.

Then you'll hear it. (Oh, and your Mini has to be an S.)

 

I usually hear it at around 2500 rpm's with my foot off the gas while the engine is decelerating.

Yes Pumpkinhead is an automatic, I call him JCW modified.
He farts all over the place. He especially like's to fart in tunnels and under overpasses.
Keep in mind it happens when your letting off the gas instead of when your giving it more gas like you would expect from a fart.
